You learnt how to introduce yourself in Norwegian. So you go to a pub in Oslo and you meet this nice Norwegian girl and introduce yourself. Now what? Fear not and keep learning. Here are a few simple sentences to add to your conversation.

| Jeg heter Kevin Rodrigues. | My name is Kevin Rodrigues. |
| Jeg kommer fra India. | I come from India. |
| Jeg bor i Oslo. | I live in Oslo. |
| Jeg er 30 år. | I am 30 years old. |
| Jeg er enslig/gift. | I am single / married. |
| Jeg har ikke barn/Jeg har ett barn. | I have no children / I have one child. |
| Jeg har en katt. | I have a cat. |
| Den heter Tom. | It’s called Tom. |
You can then further the conversation with your female friend by asking her some questions. Remember that you learn Norwegian question words.

| Hvor kommer du fra? | Where do you come from? |
| Hvor bor du? | Where do you live? |
| Hvor gammel er du? | How old are you? |
| Er du gift? | Are you married? |
| Har du barn? | Do you have children? |
| Har du telefon? | Do you have a telephone? |
